What is Zo?

Zo is a pet care app for dogs and cats. From your pet's breed, age and weight, Zo builds a personalised well-being Blueprint and a Daily Routine — their whole day from waking to bed. It also warns you about local weather risks, runs weekly wellness check-ins, and answers your questions through the Ask Zo chat.

Is Zo free?

Yes. Zo is free to download on the App Store and Google Play, and the free plan includes the Blueprint, the Daily Routine, the Safety Dashboard, weekly check-ins, the Community and a monthly Ask Zo allowance. Zo Pro is an optional subscription that adds Today's Insight, wellness trends, a safety recommendation tailored to your pet and editable routine times. Each plan's current Ask Zo and pet limits are shown in the app under Settings › Subscription.

Does Zo work for cats as well as dogs?

Yes. Zo supports both dogs and cats, including mixed breeds. A few features are dog-specific, like walk and step tracking; everything else adapts to your pet's species.

How does Zo keep my pet safe in hot weather?

Zo's Safety Dashboard reads live weather for your location — temperature, humidity and UV — to show a Low, Moderate or High risk for heat, UV and ticks, plus wildlife and plant activity in rural areas, and the best and worst hours to walk, hot pavement included. Zo Pro adds a recommendation tailored to your pet's breed, coat and size. Always watch your pet for signs of distress such as heavy panting or seeking shade.

Is Zo a replacement for my vet?

No. Zo gives general well-being suggestions to help you care for your pet day to day. It does not diagnose or treat illness. If your pet is unwell, injured or you are worried about them, contact your vet.

Where is Zo available?

Zo is available worldwide on iPhone and iPad through the App Store, and on Android phones and tablets through Google Play. The app is in English.

How does Zo handle my data?

Your pet's data is stored securely in your Zo account. To write insights and answers, Zo sends the details they need to Google's Gemini service, which may not use them for its own purposes. Zo never sells your data, and you can delete your account and data from inside the app at any time.
